New Village Centre Thalfingen

In a community east of Ulm a new village centre is to be built. With its island-like location, the property represents a special feature in the local context. The concrete spatial programme results from the analysis of the local conditions. Essentially, living, shopping and offices are to be established. The challenge of the design task is especially to develop an architecturally adequate attitude towards the existing structure.

Depending on the concept and design idea, the building itself can be a large form or an ensemble of additive units. In addition to function and form, appropriate and high-quality constructional solutions and details are criteria of the design task.
