VDI-Competition „Bathing 4.0 - New Construction of a Thermal and Leisure Pool for Düsseldorf"

       

       

In order to enhance the leisure facilities in the state capital of Düsseldorf, a new and innovative bathing centre is to be built, which will provide exemplary answers to the questions of energy management and the handling of the resources of such a leisure facility.
Further information will be available from mid-August at www.vdi.de/wip.

Students of architecture, civil engineering, building services engineering and facility management or related fields of study at German-speaking universities of applied sciences are eligible to participate. Teams of 2 to 6 persons consisting of at least two disciplines are admitted.

Kick-off event in Neuss: November 2019 (participation recommended)
Registration for the competition: from February 2019
Submission of VDI-Competition entries: March 31, 2020

The design-submission at the institute will take place about 4 weeks before the submission of the competition entries to the VDI (end of Febr. 2020).
Final submission: mid of March 2020
